So I have changed the alternator/voltage regulator, checked the alternator to starter fuseable link(I think it was the right one. I cannot figure out why it’s still not charging. Any ideas?

I have a 1986 with a five speed. I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder hose, and I’m wondering if anyone can help me with how to disconnect the hose from the swivel at the master cylinder?
