I know this is a long shot, but I’ve always wanted a 2.3 liter single cab 4x4 ranger. I know they aren’t exactly common so I’ll take what I can get as long as the body isn’t completely trashed. I am located in the Pacific Northwest in north idaho.

I second that ^ … my 89 bronco plow rig has the inline 6 and it’s doing the same thing… new, cap and rotor, battery, 3G alternator conversion, plugs and wires, fuel filter, air filter… yet it misfires and sputters and gets worse when I use the heater, or anything electric… still runs and drives...

Looking good man! Those cases are definitely heavy. My B2 project is on hold for a bit unfortunately due to the weather and lack of sufficient heat in my garage. Will be picking back up in the spring / warmer days ahead.

Every time I have encountered those codes whether it’s the 4.0 OHV or the 4.0 SOHC , it’s normally 1 or 2 things…. The intake plenum O-rings or there is a larger rubber elbow for the PCV hardline. Located to the bottom left of the intake/throttle body with 2 other hoses attached to a vacuum...

I will be dropping the fuel tank this weekend and see if that’s the issue possibly? If not I will Be on the look out for a good 4.0 OHV and I’ll be doing the swap right along side with my sons bronco 2.
