As most of you guys have seen I bought a 93 2.3l ranger for $500 that I’ve called “the turd” well the PO thought it was a good idea to spray paint the door cards. So I decided let me attempt to “freshen it up some. Went from a factory blue to a gray
So not much work done on the ranger this weekend but I did manage to pick up a set of American racing billet wheels to get rid of the gm style ralley. Now sometime this week get some rubbers
Okay, so yesterday was a good day. I’ll need to start a money spent parts list
$500 truck
$70 fuel pump assembly
$120 timing belt kit
$100 crank sensor
$30ish for coolant
Yesterday I went though this truck and replaced the crank sensor along with the timing belt. Still didn’t have spark or...
Well, led digital test light will come in handy very soon. Another question. The freeze/ expansion plug behind the bell housing that would be a water jacket correct

Hey,yeah I agree I’m not loaded with money. If I was I wouldn’t be asking questions on this turd box. I bought this truck to take some everyday driving load of my 20yr old 5.4 super crew f150. I hate figuring out electronics and electrical diagnostics. But as stated I have no power to coils...
I’m not sure if the forums still a thing like they were in early 2k era. But I’m Mike and I’ve stumbled across a 93 2.3 manual ranger. I’m so lost on this $500 turd box but I’m a ford man through and through. So back to this ranger as stated I paid $500 for it the P.O claimed it had a fuel issue...
