hey guys just wondering if anyone knew if the explorer leaf lift springs would fit a ranger? dunno if the dimensions from eye to eye is different or not. Looking to do a SAS and need to lift the rear, but don't wanna use blocks. and the 3" explorer leafs are about 250 cheaper than ranger 6"...

just wondering if anyone knows for sure what pitman arms, if any, will fit a stock 93 ranger steering? i was under the impression that pretty much all the ford pitman arms are interchangeable between each on being able to fit the steering box? i'm asking cuz i'm hoping i have enough money to...

I'm not familiar with the soft locker. Does it replace the entire carrier and work for 5.13 gears?

THANKS! thats a lot better of a pic than what i've seen before. Everything is really easy to see. I'll probably start a build thread up here pretty soon... just waiting to get the housing as it got shipped today :D and then gonna be working on getting the guts and knuckles out.

Wahlstrom i don't suppose you could post a pic up of your set up? I'm curious how you did the cross-over, cuz i was thinking of doing that, but ain't quite sure how to do it quite yet. haven't seen a very good pic of one yet.

i was gonna throw adapters on the rear anyways cuz i got the 8.8 31 spline w/ disc brakes and detriot locker already set up. just gonna swap out the gears for 5.13 when i get the front done. i didn't even think about the bolt pattern being the same as chevy! theres TONS of chevys around down...

i've got a deal in the works on getting an EB d44. but i'm under the impression i can put pretty much any d44 knuckle out assembly on it, is this true? Cuz if it is, i was planning on getting a hold of waggy d44 knuckle out assembly and running high steer on em, cuz that way i get disc brakes...

Hey guys looking at joining up. Wanna know any insights y'all might have if you've beenthrough the enlistment process? Mostly looking at either the marines or busting my ass to get to be a ranger in the army.

i know the waggy d44 comes stock with leaf setup, but i was wondering if it'd be easier to just do leafs, or stay with the coil set up. Mostly i'm wondering what leafs you guys use for the front, and how you measure the lift height on em before actually getting them under. cuz im lookin for 8-9"...

well have you heard of anyone doin coil overs with it? Cuz i an't sure how much lift those would give on a ranger? cuz if i keep the current set up i have, i'm gonna want at least 6" suspension again.

oh, i'm planning on staying with coils, but i might 3 link the front end or something. cuz i've already put an exploder rearend in my truck, that was cake job to do, just had to go buy a tool to get the degrees right on the angle of the perches. so the coil spring mount will sit on the pumpkin...

thank you, thats exactly what i was looking for my answer! i've just heard of guys having problems with doing leaf overs on axles that had were leaf unders cuz the leaf perch on top of the axle would essentially mount itself right on the pumpkin... so i wasn't sure if that would be a problem...
