i have a 1994 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 if i hold the throttle to the floor it cuts out bad it dont matter how fas or slow your going if you hold it about half throttle it runs fine the engine is warm i cant figure it out thanks for the help

i have a 1994 4.0 5 speed 4x4 it runs fine unless you hold it to the floor it cuts out really bad like wont go at all if you hold it half throttle it runs ok. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks:icon_confused:
