Engine Number
The number I found is stamped into the block. It's not a casting number. I had a plug that comes out of the bottom of my intake manifold at the opening melt the other week. I was looking for the engine number that way I could try and find parts for it.- layinranger

Engine Number
Ive looked on my 1983 Diesel 2.2l block and the only number ive found was pretty short. It was only five digits long. Is this the correct number?- layinranger

2.2l diesel glow plug wiring
Does anyone know where we can get parts for the 2.2l Perkins engines? I think part of my wiring for my glow plugs melted. The part that melted is the wiring coming out of the bottom of the intake manifold. Thanks for the help.- layinranger
