Bought a Ruger black powder pistol back in the late 70s, took it a whole year to arrive. Shot it a few times and got really tired of taking it in the shower with me. Sold it soon after.
Have we all become blithering idiots? From the looks of this, we have!

Is this BS or reality?:shok:
Will, I'd be building a Moat and stock with gators as the first line of defense. Any that crawled out would be fried with a flamethrower. That little pipsqueek is getting on my nerves.
Finally got some .22 crimped bird shot for my birthday. I'm ready now for those pesky squirrels! Oh, the sadness... The Wife took over my shooting duties. She says I'm wasting ammo. Her motto is "One Shot, One Kill"! I think she just likes shooting my new Ruger pistol.
My Optima Red Top 12 volt battery just became a 6 volt battery! Forgot to use the Master Disconnect and the battery discharged on my infrequently run Ranger. Slapped on the "Smart Charger" on slow for 6 hours, went back out and I now have a 6 volt battery sitting at 100%!
WTF! Did my charger...
Well, anything is liable to get damaged in the woods, being low profile, or not. There is nothing safe and it is just the nature of trails and the backwoods. If you break something, you fix it and keep on keeping on!
I've seen white and also the clear ones. I would definitely go with the clear ones to add additional light. I've also considered solar powered fans for the home attic. Need to read up on the volume of air moved, first.
I probably will get a pellet rifle at some point. I do enjoy the quietness and the ability to practice in the garage. I've only ran just over 100 pellets through my new, cheap break-barrel pistol. I think my shots will improve once it is broken-in. Sure a hoot to shoot!
Hahaha! We do have a wild red fox that has nailed several of these squirrels. The Fox is super fast and can also jump about 6 feet up in to the tree. Most amazing thing I have ever seen.
RonD You have a very valid point. Even with the commercial CCI Shot shells, 20-25 feet is about the maximum distance for a kill. I'll make something work.
