This is a very straight, very clean, '88 Ranger.

Needs an engine; the boy burned up the original.

90k-ish miles on the chassis.

Located in Hayward, California. Any fair offer would be considered, and trailering is possible.

Thanks for the note. The truck was gifted to me by a friend. I bought a used Crown Vic this weekend with very low miles, but the 4.6L engine is impossibly large for this engine bay. A more clever lad would have learnt that before buying the Vic... I'm told a 302 works well for this, but now I'm stuck with the Vic...

Never been a big Ranger fan, but the 1st-gen automatics like this one were good drivers. I registered here in order to find a home for this truck.

If I wasn't in Ohio I would be very interested. I think it would cost me about $1k just to get it here. Good luck.

Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
4.6 does fit, there's a thread on here detailing how to do it.

If you weren't in California, I'd be very interested.

Great looking truck, have an engine put in it and drive it another 20+ years. They're never going to make anything like these old trucks anymore save them. Wish I had the money and lived closed I'd jump on it for sure.
