Hello my blue oval friends
My dad bought a my ranger off the show room floor and it now has 347,000 miles
To say the least its getting tired. I bought running 94 explorer to us as a donor motor while I rebuild the original.
The explorer motor and the ranger ranger motor are both4.0. Other the push rod 4.0. But I found that there is a cam synchro or cam position sensor on the explorer motor and not on my ranger. Is this going to be an issue when swapping motors please help with any info cpldad1972@gmail.com

Welcome aboard! I believe you don't t use the CPS and you use old engine wiring harness and possibly even the intake set up.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s
those tail lights do look good. from the back, i would have thought that was an old f150 from the 70s, early 80s.

are you around jacksonville?
