My question is will the explorer dash fit, if so(what’s the chances of bolting in without any mods?) I have 1996 explorer 5.0 I’m swapping into a 1993 ranger. I have both vehicles, so for the sake of making it easy I’m going to use the explorer wiring harness, trans, rear axle and hopefully dash. I just want to know if this is worth my time to just swap over or if I’m going to have to hack the explorer dash up it’s not going to be worth it. I’ve found a lot of people talking about 94 and newer ranger dash swaps but not 93 rangers. Thanks in advance.

To be clear I’m saying complete dash not just instrument cluster. Whole dash, wiring, and instrument cluster. It was fairly easy to remove all in one piece from the explorer. Just didn’t know if it would be able to easily swap into ranger thanks for the quick reply!

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
The firewall holes for hvac are different and a few fasteners....all delible.. with welding or rivot work....the pass thru wiring sections of panel can be welded or rivot/glued in as well.
