Hey I'm Sil, bought this sweet little ranger for 800 bucks.
Had been sitting for a couple years in my neighbors driveway.
Needed a pair of rear leafs and brake lines I took on the project.

came out with a pretty sweet deal/truck. its got 79k miles, neighbor was
original owner of the truck he bought it brand new in 98, for 15k.
Still has dealer tags on the main set of keys and window sticker total time capsule.

hahah thanks guys! I know!!! I looked up the wheels alone and their worth around 250/pc I totally lucked out on this truck.
the only thing I do hate is that the rear is not locked, b/c any little bit of rain she spins first gear super easy LOL
I got some better tires coming for it. I want to build the truck just a tad mostly going to keep it original I really love this truck.

You could weight that rear axle down a little bit to increase your traction. One idea is plywood(exterior grade) , it's about 70lbs a full sheet. If you drilled holes where those bolt tails poke up and add another sheet without holes you'd still have a smooth bed. I know that would add 1 1/2 inches to the bed floor height, but also add around a hundred pounds for traction sake. Just a thought, guess it could be a bit difficult to notch out for the fenders
I used to buy two bags of sand each winter to put over my rear wheels

yea the plywood does sound cool also in the way that it would protect the bed while still being usable. the one thing I do not want to do is ever rhinoline this bed or anything like that, I really like it with its original paint. but yea I though of a couple sandbags too I dont drive very far to work or anyting like that. But it'll be nice to have the extra traction for when the road is calling, those random sight seeing trips.

small update on the build :) Last thing I'll probably do to it will be a front leveling kit bring it up 2.5" using the spring spacers and longer shocks that'll complete it. just want to keep her clean and shes a daily too so yep.

Are those 15" rims? (on the truck) BTW, I repainted my bed the original red and rolled on clear Duplicolor bed-liner so the original paint could be seen. The thing is it's not too durable.
The plan is to fix the chips and repaint and re-coat this year with the clear bed-liner again.
