I have a '84 ranger with a 2.0 lima. How hard is it to change the rear main seal? And the oil pan gasket? I am having clutch slippage and think it is caused by a oil leak. I will be replacing the clutch, pressure plate, throwout and slave at the same time.

1984 should still be a 2-piece rear seal and a 4-piece oil pan gasket. Doable, but it would be a pain with motor in the truck to get the pan gaskets on and lined up.
