The problem with that idea is the lack of room in the engine bay. But maybe run 2, one in front connected to the front axle, and one in back connected to the rear axle. That would have the added benefit of making the front to rear weight ratio pretty damn close to 50/50.
Don't ask me to tell you how to make the power output synchronized, I don't know.
PS; I know you were thinking the 4.6, but I like thinking out of the box....lol.
