I enjoy my truck, but do not have the time right now to get it where I want it. I flew to Washington state about 6 months ago and bought this truck from a dealer. During the test drive, it was a little stiff shifting between gears, but I did not think anything of it at that time. After buying the truck, I drove it home to Peoria, AZ (Phoenix). Within 1 or 2 weeks of owning the truck, I began having great difficulty getting the truck into any gear. At that time, I thought it was probably just the clutch. So, I replaced the engine's rear main seal, flywheel, pilot bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate, concentric slave cylinder, and master slave cylinder. This did not resolve the issue, so just last week I got a second opinion from a local auto shop (Tech 1 Auto). After bleeding the clutch and further diagnosis, they came to the conclusion that my transmission has bad synchros. With work, I do not have the time to replace it, and do not want to pay more for someone else to replace it.

Model: XLT 4 Door Super Cab
Engine: 4.0L

Equipment:
Truck Bed Rails
Hard Tonneau Cover
Bed Liner
Sliding Rear Window
Running Boards
Electric Windows

Pros
Engine does not burn or leak oil
4 wheel drive works
Body, frame, and paint is in good overall condition
I have not seen any rips in seats or interior
AC works great

Cons
Transmission needs to be replaced
I think engine needs a new timing kit
AC makes a little clunk after turning it on, but then sound goes away
Throttle cable sticks here and there
Needs new tires
The rear leaf spring mounts in the back of the vehicle appear to have some stress cracks
Seats have some stains
Hard Tonneau Cover is held down in rear by cables (It is missing one of the metal fasteners)
