Panasonic made good stuff back then. When I was in high school in the late 70's early 80's, I was really into the hi-fi stuff, but never could afford it. Now when I see something in Goodwill, I can't resist and have to buy it. Radio Shack made decent stuff also, just repaired a later 70's radio shack receiver I got for 10 bucks at goodwill. Had a bad output transistor, repaired that and it plays good. It was one of the first receivers with a digital readout for the radio frequencies.

One of my best finds was a JVC single cassette deck. Dual capstan, true 3 heads, for $15. Found some Cerwin Vega 10 inch woofer speakers the other day for $5 each. Put new pink foam kit in them and play like new. What am I going to do with all this stuff?

The JVC in the garage was a goodwill find. I wanted a three or five or 10 CD changer so I could just leave it on in the background as I was working on whatever. The garage is my temple, where I do my therapy. I got this one I think for $10 or $15, but the volume knob was twitchy. I did the same thing, I pulled it apart and cleaned up some teeny tiny contacts and put it back together, and the rest is history. And it feeds through a couple of giant Panasonic speakers in the back I got from Goodwill, and some smaller ones upfront that are more modern.

A youngster like you might not appreciate it, but all the rest of the stuff in that stack I bought new back in the day. That Panasonic over there was something like $140, and it was like 3-400 over here (in 1977!!!). Before my last trip home, I bought it, never opened it and shipped it. When I got hit in the 98 tornado that went through Dunwoody, the turntable got smashed. I’ve never been able to find another one, again a true 4 channel.

Whew! It's been a long time since I've been online here. Between work, school, and just life things, I haven't had time to check in here for a few months. Jim, I am actually an automotive student and have access to multiple shop service info databases. I should be able to get you some TSBs and diagrams!

Alright @Jim Oaks , After a 5 minute check on MotoLogic, I appear to have access to about 75-100 GSBs, TSBs, and SSMs. What do you want?

It might be better to send Jim Oaks a message. While he is on here daily, he isn’t on all the time. And it will flag him so he knows there is something there for him to read.

Well thanks! I wasn't aware I was able to message him directly.

And I just remembered to update my tags- I got both my ASE certs for brakes and engines as well as my GMRS license while I was gone.

I don’t know what you’ve gathered for electrical diagrams but I have these. They’ve come in handy for my 2000 3.0 2WD.
