The only reason I wouldn't go is if it wasn't possible to get to the trail.

Only thing that worries me is that trail is you drop down a big hill the have to go up a big hill on the otherside or go back up the first big hill to get out. Ive seen a lot of people in the tree lines there abandoned

Well we will meet up. Go down towards the trail and check it out. If it is bad, then call it off and get some breakfast, if the trail seems doable then go for it.

Awesome. Moving departure time from the gas station to 9am BUT meet time at the station is the same. Just giving us more time to get to the gas station with the weather

If you have mine or Ryan's (getrdone52) number then text us with the time you will be arriving so we don't leave without you!
I have no problem waiting because I will probably be asleep in my truck lol

Plan: meet up, drive down to the trail and check it out. If it isn't doable AT ALL then we won't be trying, we will leave and grab some breakfast or something before the second half of the meet. If it is doable then by all means we are going to try :D
PLEASE post up if you are going to come out to the first part.

^ Yeah last time I was up there, was maybe 3-4" of snow on the ground, I saw a Toyota pickup on 31" ATs that had slid off the trail into some trees coming up the "easy" hill. According to 9 News Denver is predicted to get 9-14" with the foothills recieving even more. Given those kind of conditions, I think it would be wise if several of the vehicles going have a winch, but I dont think that will be the case.... I dont think rescheduling the event should be out of the question.

I plan on going and have a winch. It is portable and can be used in any 2" hitch. Besides, getting stuck is half the fun!
