As I'm gradually getting rid of the parts from my disassembled 4L OHV engine I come up with various (crazy) ideas. Yesterday I was noticing how much nicer the 4L fuel rail is vs. 2.9. I've had a couple times where the 2.9 rail didn't seat quite right and leaked, so it's a valid concern to look for a better solution. I must confess I haven't really studied this idea much - just throwing the idea out there in case someone else has already explored the concept.
I figure it would require either custom machining to the 2.9 intake and/or adapting the 4L intake to the 2.9.
