Hello all,
I am going to be buying a crate motor for my 1998 ranger 2wd 2.5l 4cyl 5sp, as she is creeping up on 350k
I replaced the head with on off of a 1997 2.3
I am replacing the engine as right now it is running with a cracked piston and 2 scored walls. And this engine has had about enough.
I am not sure what the original thermostat housing bolts were and I'm asking if it matters. Worst case scenario do I buy another housing? And if any exist what differences are there
Any help is appreciated
