97 ranger replacement headunit questions

Hey everyone just have a few questions about putting in a radio in my 97 ranger xlt..
1. does anyone know a head unit kit where i can remove the stereo to stash things from prying eyes?
2. How can i tell if i have the premium sound system for my stereo adapters?
3. This forum says 5x7 in the rear and 6.5 in the front.. is that correct because sonic electronix says its a 6x7 all the way around
4. How much rms do i need in my bed to feel/hear it in the cab? I have a 1Krms setup

Get a head unit with a removable face, you don't have to pull the whole thing that's like seventies technology

Im talking about to use behind it as a stash not remove it for theft purposes
