Changing bed decided to upgrade fuel pump. Now it won’t start. No power to,pump. Checked fuse and relay and inertia switch. All seem OK. Ran power to new pump it works fine. After powering pump started engine and it ran for a few seconds and died. I was hoping it would cure problem when running. Code P0232 secondary circuit high. said maybe sort to VBATT or open FPM circuit. Ani fixes out there??

Welcome to TRS :)

There should be 2 Ground wires at the fuel pump connector
Ground for the pump
Ground for the Sender(fuel level)
Test both, there is no 12volts without a good ground

Fuel pump should only come on for 2 seconds with key on
So hard to test for that
But it does that 2 seconds each time key is turned from off to on

P0232 "secondary circuit high" means fuel pump's 12v wire had 12volts when it shouldn't, like after the 2 seconds or if engine RPMs were under 400 with key on

The computer activates the fuel pump Relay in engine fuse box for 2 seconds with key on
There is a Fuel Pump fuse in engine fuse box, it has 12v all the time

12v-FP Fuse--FP Relay-----inertia switch(in cab)--------fuel pump---ground

Thanks for the quick reply. I noticed the gas gauge was pegged above full earlier today and later it read 1/2 tank which is about right. Tried to clear code and it came back. Will check grounds tomorrow after work.
