My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
He was running a Vulcan? No kidding, I never picked up on that. Crazy.
The "Little Engine That Could". PetroleumJunky has me considering a rebuild with a few special mods when I'm ready for a new powerplant.

Hes got me considering ripping the 2.9 out of rusty #1, and building it for one helluva sleeper for rusty #2.

Maybe one day

Nothing wrong with a 3.0. I've been beating on mine for about 3 years now and drive it EVERY day to work. I don't have a back up vehicle so its gotta be dependable which for the most part it is. Had a lot of bugs to get worked out but I got most of them. I got mine up to 90 mph earlier with no problems (late for work). Oh an I had 6 bales of hay in the bed too. Can't do a burnout on wet pavement but it will get up and go with a 4.0 i'm sure. Anyone race a stock 3.0 with a stock 4.0??

If you think a 3.0 can keep up with a 4.0, you should probably recheck your numbers.

Let me race your 3.0 with a 2.9.

Then think about as you look at my taillights if you think you can beat a 4.0 lol

Oh come on I got 200hp on a car the weight of a go kart with 6 speed dual clutch transmission lol. Outside of having a supercharger and a 100 shot of nitrous a 2.9 doesn't stand a chance.

Well there's my supercharger. No nitrous yet, though.

I do have 4wd, methanol, and only weigh 2200 lbs, though.

Let's dance, pumpkinf*cker ??
