So this 1988 bronco ii has been a nightmare for me but anyways here’s my issue now. A4ld automatic 4x4 had water in trans and had engine issues once I got engine running good flushed milky trans. Went to put in reverse one day and locked up. Would go in overdrive and tires seemed to spin decent in drive also. Dropped pan found metal and milky oil also found plastic seal in pan. So removed trans took completely apart and found springs retainer on forward drum popped off and tore up bushing exc. replaced forward drum put new clutch packs inspected everything put back together re installed and still have issue... it will go into reverse and tires spin for about one second then locks up. Overdrives seems to work perfect and drive and low gears work but might be a bit sluggish.. please help possible solinoid valves or something? Pics are from before rebuild still haven’t dropped pan again getting tired of messing with this
