I used to watch American Chopper a lot the last few years. I've seen about 2 episodes from the current season and dont really like it. I'm interested to see how Jr's boutique goes. And since the company has gotten bigger, I also have kind of lost interest in the show. I think i missed the episode where Vinny left, but I thought that Cody left because his co-op stuff for school was over.

I was nice to see a father/son deal working on bikes and doing a fine job at it.

But it seems the past 2 years, money has consumed them. Sr. has that huge mansion, car and bike collection, various Hummers and Mercedes, all the fancy little things in his yard. Jr's not that far behind. Mikey's the only one who seems to live "normally". Nothing fancy about him, and that's why I like him.

A lot of the stuff they build isn't hand made anymore, it's all digital and CNC(which is nice, but when doing a one-off, I think more hand-fabbing is the way to go).

It was a nice show, now it's a "blah" show.

Smallville, now THAT's a show(freakin' awesome)

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Money=power

They think they are more than they really are. They build bikes, that's it. I did watch the show regularly until it turned into a soap opera. As stated earlier, it used to be all "custom" work. Now it's all computer fabed or off the shelf parts.

The are the type people that will make huge money quickly and when the fame is gone the money will be gone/spent/snorted just as fast. In 5-10 years I'll bet we see a where are they now show with their meteoric rise and fall. Jr. will be bankrupt inside of 8 years.

The fire bike was cool though.

If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
