it has begun. AVG wont let me receive emails from the rangerstation anymore. ugghhh. now i have to uninstall it and find something else. probably gonna go to best buy and just buy something.

I have used Nod-32 for the last 5 years. 4 years was a cracked version and in the last year I paid for it. Very happy with it and no viruses at all. Avg my brotherlaw has used keeps letting viruses thru.

I use Comado, which is free, my dads tower uses avast and so does my moms laptop, we have never had any troubles with our computers.

We use to have webroot and then went to McAfee. Stay away from both of those, they will take over your computer. We had to download a separate program just to get completely rid of them.

i uninstalled AVG, still dont get ANY emails. i rented a movie from redbox, put my email in, and never got the first email they send or the confirmation email they send when you return it. still not getting any TRS emails either, i'm out of the loop!!! lol. for anyone reading this in the future, DONT USE AVG!!!!!

NOD32 is definitely the best one, and has been for years, in my opinion. No one knows about it and it's so expensive.

For $70 CDN and can be used on 3 computers. I have 4 computers running here at the moment. Price, does it matter when you have to redo your pc every couple of months or in my brothernlaws case every 2 weeks? I like the peace of mind knowing that my pc is safer.

i have a feeling i'm gonna be getting rid of the AVG, it already looks like it's gonna give me problems with emails. yesterday was the last day we had the trial version of norton, so i had to do something. i'll probably break down and buy something after the 30 day version is done....i was just hoping there was some good free stuff out there. nothing good is free though.

If you haven't already done so, do as Dave suggested and try their removal tool...if not...you may need to go into the MSCONFIG and disable anything to do with AVG~...

i'm gonna have to do something. i figured out my TRS emails are going straight to the trash can in my gmail account. i get emails from another forum i'm on for remington 700's, just not TRS. i guess i could have screwed something up in the gmail account
