any broken dana 30 sas's

I'm planning a dana hp30 sas on 35s and id like to see if anybody has actually broke anything on a dana 30 because so many people say its to weak. :icon_thumby:

It's pretty tough all things considered. I have a brother on 33s in his jeep and He had a broken ring gear. Chipped teeth. My sister also destroyed the insides of hers on 35s, but I am pretty sure it got water in it and rusted and froze and stuff. It locked up on the road. Stopped fast. It wasn't the 30s fault in that case. I have seen a broken ujoint or two in buddies on 35s too.

Yep. They were both the later model larger spicer joints. 297s or 5-760

Do keep in mind a Jeep (aside from the smaller Wrangler) are unibody so they have less weight on the front.

I know a couple guys with D30's on here though and they don't seem to have that much trouble with them. :dntknw:
