So i got the 6" SJ lift on but am just waiting for Skyjacker to get back to me about the drop pitman arm issue. So have started to look for tires, where i am at is, i am going with 33" for gearing sake, (i would love 35's but 33's will be be a little easier on the truck) and becuase i want to save a little weight and like the tall skinny look i am going with 33x10.50x15, i have narrowed it down to a few but cant find too much on the the tire i am most interested in, the Maxxis RAZR MT, but what i can find has all been positive. Besides those i am eyeing the general grabbers X3's or maybe going with a less aggresive AT like the BFG K02, but my avalanche has A/T's on it already and since the ranger will be used for almost all the offroading so i feel an M/T's pro's will out weigh its cons.
Does any one have any input, particularly on the Maxxis?

Thank in advance
heres a little before and after of the lift with my 31" toyos still on it.

No experience with the RAZR, but for the most part I've been happy with the X3s and what they cost (35x12.50R15 flavor).

They are fairly round (about on par with BFG, but less so than Toyo), and have very thick sidewalls (good for puncture resistance from rock/branches, but are heavy). They were advertised as being a full 35" diameter in the spec sheets, but the ones I got were 34.6" :annoyed:

My credo
If it's not broken Don't Fix It!
I ran Maxxis Razr 's and Razr 2's on my wheeler, Does that count? I didn't even know Maxxis stepped out of the just ATV/UTV tires till now.

As much as I wanted to try the Maxxis tires I just ended up with tried and true BFG KO2s i got them for $150 off a set of 4 so they came out to $185 each shipped to my door

with the amount of snow I’ll be in in the mountains around here and with a baja trip planned for the spring I think they will do better in the sand down there as well

i just wished the KO2 looked tougher!
