For those not in the know.
If you buy a distributor with a cast iron gear from autozone make sure they give you the correct TFI module. I was supposed to have a gray TFI module and my distributor came with a black one. While gray and black are physically interchangeable then are not electrically interchangeable. If you need gray make sure you get a gray module... if you need black make sure you get a black one. It’d you need a blue module you can use a gray module.
This applies to all distributor mounted speed density modules. If they argue with you have them pull the gray module from the shelf, in the box is instructions that say gray and black do not interchange.
And if you have a cast iron cam you need a cast iron gear... and you have to replace your gray module with a gray module....
