Hey guys,
So I am trying to mount a 2.9 to an engine stand. Not matter what way I do it I can only get three arms to line up with the bolt holes. I poked around and couldn't find too much info. I did see some people using the dowels (which are hollow and not threaded) for the fourth arm, or even for two arms - one on either side. Is this a safe practice? I am worried about putting too much stress on the top bolts, or the dowels for that matter.
Awaiting sage advice...
