Bed replacement

I'll keep that swap in mind, for now the utility bed will probably stay on until spring. Just bought it a few weeks ago and right now I am getting her mechanically sound.
Things done so far . plugs & wires which I think were original as the plug gap was probably 0.090. , drained old nasty fuel out , put new fuel and seafoam in installed new fuel filter. Found Transmission modulator was blown and allowing fluid to pass into vacuum port also causing it to smoke, this led to a decision on the best way to get to the modulator. I decided to pull the seats and carpet out to gain access to the door on the Hump to get at it from above, of course while carpet and seats were out it was a great time to clean carpet and inspect floorboards which to my surprise had no rust. Next will be taking off upper throttle body to be able to remove valve covers to replace gaskets, probably put new injectors in as well while its all out of the way. Right now she runs great with 114,000 on her.

Told you so...

Max... just a word of caution from Uncle Gump.

If bed swaps are anything like cab swaps... I hear @PetroleumJunkie412 prefers to do them in the nude.

You have been warned!

Here is the Utility bed swap , off the Truck and on the frame that my new bed came on. Will be posting utility bed trailer up for sale on KSL soon.

Glad to see you got it figured out... that would make a really cool camping trailer.

Side note... Your work bench looks like mine. No place to perform any work.

Also... Maybe post that trailer up here in the classified section. I would like to see the folks here have a chance before it goes public.

Yep, between trolling motor rebuilds and many side projects I haven’t seen the top of my work bench in years.
