Truck is an 04 4.0L 2wd.

Was accelerating on to the highway and heard a weird flapping noise that went away after a couple of seconds. Truck drove fine so I waited to check until I got to a gas station. Popped the hood to see most of the belt wrapped around the hood and the tps connector gone.

Pulled out the bits of belt and installed the spare that I keep for just such an emergency.
I tried reconnecting the wires to the pins on the tps but the truck wouldn't start. The middle pin reads 4V with the throttle closed. The truck will start and drive with the tps disconnected, but it doesn't accelerate or shift properly.

Plan is to go to the junkyard and get another throttle body with a tps, a tps pigtail, and an intake tube.

Is there any relearning that needs to be
done for the tps? Or can I just bolt on the new throttle body and be good to go?

Thank you

Just disconnect one battery cable while doing the work
After re-connection and start up, computer will look at all the sensors for changes
