Good afternoon y’all, I’m looking for some one inch lift/lowering blocks for my ranger. I got some on Amazon and they don’t fit, are there any other listings or companies any of y’all have had luck with? Thanks.

A plain 1 inch piece of steel will not work? We need pictures.

The stud that fits onto the axle works, but the leaf spring center bolt head is too wide (or the block hole is too small)
The intent is lowering not lifting

Why not just make the hole bigger?

I could, but how?
or do I make the center bolt head slimmer?
Sounds like a good excuse to get some tools. Get a drill and some drill bits and open it up a little bit. Do you have a small bench and a vise also?

Leaf Spring Center Bolt Head is 5/8ths” wide dia,
Spacer is 9/16ths” hole dia
So 1/16th difference. I take it I’ll just get a 5/8ths bit? What style?
Also side note about the blocks, do they look okay or do they look like cheap amazon crap that will break? It’s aluminum.

Not sure how many tools you have. Most people have a small 3/8 chuck drill. You can easily get a set of drill bits like a Dewalt brand that have bits up to 1/2", and the larger bits are stepped so a 3/8 chuck drill will accept them.

You may be able to take a 1/2 bit and wallow the hole out enough for 5/8, but it will be touch and go. If you happen to have a 1/2 chuck drill, you can get a decent set of oversize bits from Amazon or someone else. I see these on Amazon are $82. That might seem expensive, but you will never be wanted for a oversize drill bit again, and they work great with a small drill press. They go all the way up to 1 inch.
