Cab body filler be applied to metal and then be chromed without any problems?

That is true. Unless it has sentimental value, it one-of-a-kind, or isn't available as any kind of reproduction, it's probably not worth getting it chromed. My grandpa had the front and rear bumpers for his 37 Chrysler Royale re-chromed. They were not large bumpers and I think it came out to over $300 each.the main problem is most of the time its cheaper to buy new parts than get them chromed(unless its my brothers 53 new yorker hemi)
