I recently received an email from someone describing a Bronco II that they came across a few years ago. No photos. No other info.
I was looking at your web site today and I noticed you wanted to be e-mailed about diferent versions of broncos so I thought I would let you know about one I came across a few years back when I was looking for parts for my '85.
It was called a Bronco II Esprit. It was I believe '84 to '86 due to the fact it had the 2.8L carburated motor and was 4WD even though it had molded front air dam(w/driving lights) fender flares and running boards.
It had ESPRIT in 4 or 5 inch letters on the lower part of the door in striping. Along with the ground effects it also had a sun viser, adjustable roof rack and mag rims.
The inside was like any Eddie Bauer XLT version. Electric everything, woodgrain dash, upgraded seat upholstery with ESPRIT stitched in the head rest of the high back bucket seats, center console and tinted windows. It also had an overhead console that held the stereo and stretched all the way to the back. It branched out to the sides directly behind the front seats and at the very back. At the ends of each branch it had a 4 inch speaker(4 total). It had several other nicety's like in the back it had lockable storage box's on the sides and if I'm not mistaken it had a split sun roof to accomadate the center overhead console.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something but can't think of it at the moment. I inquired about it at my local Ford dealer and they said it was probably a dealer conversion but they had no idea who had done it. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. BTW I live in Washington State.
