Clearancing passenger axle window?

Tearing down my D35 for some maintenance and wanting to do all I can to get the most out of it while it's apart. I have searched for over an hour but can't find any detail on clearancing the window other than pretty much everyone saying they've done it. Can someone help me out with a link here? I'd really appreciate it.

There's not much to it really...

I took a grinder and just stuck it in there making it wider up & down, then used a Dremel to kindof clean it up afterward.

Yeah, I put a cable over the frame to limit the amount the suspension unloads on steep climbs, while still allowing the full amount of flex (same exact principle as a "center limit strap" or hooking your winchhook to your axle).
