Start the motor up. It revs up and down than stalls. After the engine warms up it idles fine.
Also after it warms up, between 1000-2000 rpm it has no power. It sounds like a miss fire but all the plugs, distributer cap and rotor button look good.

It did sit for almost a year and a half with out running. But I am using fresh gas

After that long sitting the fuel can evaporate in the engine's fuel rail and injectors which leaves behind a varnish, throw a can of seafoam in the gas tank
And a new fuel filter although that's not the issue, just a good idea when it sat that long

Unplug the IAC Valve's 2 wires, then start Cold engine, use the gas pedal to hold idle, see if its steady, if its still hard to hold steady then its not a computer, ECT or IAC Valve issue, maybe a vacuum issue check PCV Valve, block its hose

The low power at 1k-2k could be vacuum issue as well

Also check SPOUT connector, make sure its there and plugged in, maybe check distributor timing , 10-12deg BTDC SPOUT unplugged

The distributor has weights inside so TFI module has RPM spark advance but no "vacuum advance", that is provided by the computer via the SPOUT wire, which is why you disconnect it to set base spark timing, same as you removed "vacuum advance hose" to set timing on older style distributors.

Without "vacuum advance" spark(SPOUT) an engine will be sluggish to get to a higher RPM then will run fine, as the RPM advance in distributor is now valid
So if any acceleration is sluggish it could be SPOUT issue, SPOUT is also used more at Cold start for Choke Mode

I will give that a shot
I have seen on you tube that it could be the map sensor?

Yes, either leaking vacuum hose on MAP sensor or corroded 3 wire connector

MAP sensors don't fail as often as they are replaced, lol, grain of salt
