I am working on fixes and updates on my 1999 Ranger XLT 4x4. Saw another posted online with a dashboard that looks awesome in the truck. But they did not know where it came from. Anyone seen this and know where I might find one?

That's the older dash that was in Rangers starting in 89. Not sure about the last year but it was there at least through 94.

The dash changed from the style in the picture for the 1995 model year.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
That photo looks just like my 93

Thanks guys for the quick replies. Anyone know if it is a direct fit? Or would need work to make it fit?

It is not direct fit. The firewall changed with the dash in 95, The holes for the HVAC system were moved outboard, and so the ductwork for that dash will not line up with your firewall correctly. It can be fixed, to work but you have to cut and weld on the firewall.

You'll also need a transfer case with a speedo cable output to feed the gauge, while also keeping a VSS for the GEM.

Thanks for all the info. Save me time and probably money. Guess someone found it worthy to do on this one.
