Did you install a lift or leveling kit?

Just talked to a Tuff Country engineer about the UCA's.

He stated that in the smaller trucks (Taco, Ranger), there is sufficient clearance and proper angle of the UCA whereas the kit does not require longer UCA's. They have been selling 3" Taco lifts for over 15 years, with no reported issues with the 3" lift and stock UCA's.

FYI. YMMV.

My credo
"220, 221, whatever it takes."
I'm not sure how I feel about a 3-inch kit without new upper control arms.
I wouldn’t go over 2.5” with the stockers. I had 2.5” strut spacers on my old Sport Trac and didn’t get much more than a year out of the ball joints. Several times.
