To say that the battery tray in my '84 Ranger was useless would be an understatement:

So I fabbed one up over the summer while replacing the auto with a 5-speed and rebuilding the 2.8. It's so study I actually jumped on it and it didn't budge. :D Another plus, the battery didn't move an inch during my recent wreck @ about 30mph: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157672 I know for a fact the previous tray would of tossed the battery.

Making a battery tray is not a big deal compared to what everyone else here has done, but I figured yall would like to see the pics anyways. :icon_thumby:

Thanks! It was actually my first welding project. Did it with a $90 welder from Harbor Freight. It's a very cheap welder, but for the little projects it does the trick! :D
