The ends of the sway bar curve slightly... does the curve install facing down (picture #1) or facing up (picture #2).

Dont laugh we've all had brain farts!

thanks... it became pretty obvious once I actually got the end links that it can really only go on one way. I was just getting impatient and wanted to get the bar mounted while waiting for the parts store to deliver the links.

I agree, pic 1. The angle would be all wrong for the end links going the other way.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I recommend making sure your swaydar is properly tuned before entering a sway bar.

Technically wouldn't number one be an anti sway bar and number two and anti anti sway bar?

In any case the truck doesnt clunk and drive like a sailboat anymore so :headbang:

I tried to do the shocks today but couldn't find a 1/4" wrench

80 degrees is too hot! Eff that.... plus I only had a couple hours before I needed the truck to get the kids and I was worried I'd snap the shock top off if I used vice grips and get in too deep. The fiesta is down and the mkx is at the dealer for the 3,347 time.

Nothing but Fords
Actually a good question as I have 'flipped" them like picture 2 on a raised truck to keep the stock sway bar links and good geometry.
