Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
Put a 2.9 in it. They're 150 bucks or less, and you'll drift from here to there without any issues.

I drift around in mine all.the time.

I know how to drift I've done it allot in other cars I just simply want to make this truck drift and i have a very tight budget and alredy spent most of it on truck
So your not willing to do anything, spend any money, or listen to any advice....

Can we just merge this into the pointless thread?

I'm not trying to swap the entire drivetrain I'm just trying to make this drift cheep and easy I dont see why I can't just weld the diff and clutch kick the **** out of it I mean it's a truck there is no weight on rear wheels

...disregard the 2.9 swap comment.

Your definition of drifter and my definition of drifter are apparently very different.

I'll go back to 1958 now. They're waiting on me over at the diner.

1] I would get rid of the front sway bar or go to the thinnest one you can find.
2] Then put a 1" or bigger rear sway bar out of a full-size f150 into your truck. It fits if you slightly bend the arms in a little on a 20ton press.
3] You can make a posi out of the rear you have by adding 1 or more side gear shims to to your rear end. That costs about $5.00 plus gear oil.
4] Then save money for a turbo 2.3.

Yea it's a super cool mod where if your clutch isn't moving you can save by not having to move all that rotational mass by just welding the clutch so you don't have to spin it or worry about engaging it or staling it out

Also thinking about welding the drive shaft or the crank shaft

You won't be interested but you would be better off selling that truck and buy an 01+ sohc 4.0l longbed. You'll get 210hp with lots of aftermarket mustang parts to upgrade it, all 4.0 rangers have 8.8" axles, the longbed gives you a longer wheelbase without the excessive weight of an extended cab, and you get rack and pinion steering which is a major advantage. Then swap the rack and pinion into it from an extended cab which has a quicker steer ratio and is 2.5 turns lock-to-lock where as the single cabs have 3.5 turns.

But you are already an experienced drifter, and you already have been driving the truck. If that's the case then you already know what it needs. So what specifically are you asking then?

Weld the 7.5 and drive it. If you don't want to motor swap and need more power, then NA-T it with thunderbird parts. That pretty much the bottom line.

I can spin one wheel find and even do rolling burnouts on hot dry road with stock engine so I don't think I will have to compleatly replace the engine in order to build a drift truck
I takes less power to spin one wheel than spin both, since you only have to break half as much total traction patch to do so. But you can do rolling burnouts on hot dry pavement with a 2.3? Everyone here wants to see that video please.

I have a car that can do rolling burnouts at highway speeds, and it ain't any of the rangers I've ever owned thats for damn sure.

We will be awaiting your youtube link.

I still think you should be a drifter like I am.

Drifting from town to town.

Spreading the gospel of the 2.9L Cologne.

In Ford's name we pray. Vroom vroom.
