I was driving and the engine light came on. Then it just died. I hooked up my reader but there are no codes. I still have power. When I try to start it, it tries to turn over but never starts.

Does it sound odd when cranking like skips a couple cylinders or cranks fast? I would suspect timing belt, there's a rubber plug just above the water pump pulley in the timing cover, pull that and see if the timing belt is tight or not. If it's broke, don't fret, it's a non interference engine so is fixable.
