alright. right now its super stock 1995 2wd with a v6. once i get to my new command im going to abuse their shop to build this up. general goal is a prerunner so anyways, has anyone dropped f150 beams on a ranger? im debating when i get there, buying some farmers old broken down 90s f150 and parting it for my ranger. 150 beams will extend it about 4 inches on each side, make it sit a couple inches higher up front as well going off what ive looked up. but anyways, taking that f150 and taking the front suspension setup, knuckles, rear axle, and steering. maybe some other parts, we shall see. thats in regards to the f150 on top of welding an extra foot to the radius arms for long travel. rear suspension will just be some 64 inch leaf springs because im poor and dont want to chop my frame... but back to the main question, how to drop f150 beams on a ford ranger cuz i keep seeing people say its possible but not how and im debating whether i should just get the giant motorsports ones or still try to (and preferably) keep it as budget friendly as possible

My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
I would buy the beams. They're the cheaper part of a prerunner build, and very important. I prefer to keep the welding on chassis stuff minimal to gusseting/boxing only.

IMO getting the steering/alignment right is the PITA part of it.

2wd 90's ranger is relatively easier than some other trucks to prerunner out. I see em often around here. Might build mine a bit some day, but its got the TTB front end, so way more complicated and spendy.

Im sure fab shops would be willing to share their knowledge. My buddy Stephen over at SMP Fabrication in Sun Valley, CA has built many rangers, maybe give them a call.

sounds good to me. im still weighing everything out. not liking the giant motorsports pricetags lol, but itll give like 8 inches of extention and its equal length n all
