Has anyone replaced they fog lights with new led ones? Not talking about just the bulb but the entire assembly. I'm replacing mine with diode dynamics and have had a hell of a time removing the plastic splash guard. The bolt in front of the crash bar is a real pain. The but you can actually access is starting to round no matter how much lubricant or heat I apply. Any tips?

I am curious about that too. I want to replace my bulbs with some yellow PIAA LED's? I am not sure if they fit due to the heat sink on the back of the bulbs?

Apparently Rigid makes replacement fog lights. They are in the Stage 3 Motorsports Ranger video on YouTube. Ford Accessories has upgraded fog lights also but they cost a hella lotta money.

Ford is almost always going to up charge on stuff. They gotta make their money too and cash in on the brand. The plus side, they are pretty much guaranteed to fit and work.

Rigid makes a good light.

Deengineer until it is how Blue Oval should have sold it!!
Daniel,

If you can't loosen it, you may need to drill, grind or cut of the fastener.

Drill by staring in the center go to desired depth to let the fastener out, then increase bit sizes until it is out.

Grind, use a die grinder to chew off the bolt head.

Cut, use either a saw or torch to remove one end of the bolt.
