I was thinking this morning...

You mentioned a cobra rear?

What about a 02-10 (?) explorer rear.

Im not sure how much ranger DNA was left in them by those years but it could be an option for IRS for alot less money then stang parts.

I’ll have to look into it. I think the bolt patterned changed to be the same as the f150 when it went to that platform not 100% sure when that’s was

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I just checked out ebay and there's loads of complete Mustang back-ends available for under $1k. From 3.15s to 3.73. Everything that's attached to the subframe.

Now the wheels are turning in my head and I regret looking -__- no more GD projects!

Yeah I wanted to keep it under 1k. (Not including coil overs) and just found someone locally selling a 2 IRS from a jaguar for $500. With very little research there’s an TON of info on these rear ends and is used commonly in hot rods etc, needless to say I’ll be getting it this Thursday and selling my Cummins 12v project to make room to fab this up
