Ok, first thing is that I know 265/75/R16s are pretty close to 32s right? Well, what is close to 33s? 285/75/R16?

Secondly, I need some recommendations for some tires. I do quite a bit of mudding (during winter/spring) and also some light trails. What do you guys recommend for tires? I was thinking of Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers because of they're fairly cheap.

Thanks everyone.

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
265/75/16 are 31.5" but it varies, my yoko geolanders measure 31 and 7/8" inflated to 50 psi, with about 12,000 miles on them supporting 7000 pounds of Suburban. The brand new Mickey Thompson Baja claws on my LandCruiser are 33x12.50/15 but only measure 32 and 3/4". Getting back to the topic

I like my yoko Geolanders and they have only let me down in sand. work great in mud, excellent on trails. great in ice and snow. Decent on wet road, nice road manners and they are quiet and mine are load "D". This is my second set. First set were 31x10.50/15 on an explorer and I got 80,000 miles out of them with no complaints

I don't really care for my mickey thompsons but I haven't been able to really check them out on a trail but their road manners suck and are horrible on wet road.

I run the cooper discoverer ST, and they havent let me down yet.

I am going to throw them on the jeep for the winter, and probably try a set of STT's on the ranger in the spring

Tires

Not sure what my next set of tires will be but they'll have to have a more aggressive tire tread than the tires I'm using now.
They are 33" Trxus STS Interco, great for rocky tails and soft stuff at 8 to 10 psi but suck in the mud and wet.

Maybe M/T Baja Claws, Interco Super Swampers or Boggers.

firestone destination mud terrain.outstanding tires--triple sidewall, and deep tread, and sticky rubber compound .great on all but ice--but can be studded when new--holes already there.

Well, what is close to 33s? 285/75/R16?
Yes. They're a little pricey, but BFG M/T's came in first in a mud tire test in one of the 4x4 magazines last year*. They also wear well on the street for an M/T.
The tread on a Pro Comp M/T is very similar and you might get a better price. The Pro Comps have the advantage of being siped, which the BFG's are not, so they may do better on snow and wet roads.

*FWIW, Pro Comp X-Terrains were dead last by a long shot.

I just got rid of a Nissan Frontier that I'd put 265/75R16 Kuhmo 834's on. I'd only had about 15,000 miles on the tires and they were wearing very well. I really think that I could have gotten about 40-45,000 out of them. With the exception of ice and slush, they were, IMO, very good tires. They cleaned very well in deep mud without alot of tire spin. They were a little noisey on the road, but only slightly more than the BFG AT's that I'd had on prior to them. I'm stuck with the BFG AT's that came on the new Ranger I bought but will probably change them out to MT's or the Kuhmo's when they wear out.
