My name is Robert, I own an 88 ford ranger I purchased for $800 from a junk yard 10 years ago. It had the 2.9 ohv motor, manual transmission manual T-case and manual locking hubs. Got it running and drove it for 6 months before I discovered both heds were cracked, 4 of the valve seats had collapsed and the crankshaft was bent on the flywheel end. I pulled the motor and started looking for parts to upgrade the truck and it's been sitting for the last 8 years.
Im planning on dropping in a supercharged 4.0 SOHC running 9.5 psi, A/C deleted, dana 35 TTB front axle, 8.8 rear axle, skyjacker 6" lift, 3" body lift, american racing 4.5x10 wheels with 38" mudgrips.
