Friday afternoon I went to see how things looked at the local County Fair. It was rather quiet there afternoons, I had also gone awhile the day before, but this time had my camera. One booth had lots of old photos of the county, and this one I wanted was a shot of the first store in my tiny hometown, which I suppose began after the railroad came through in 1877. I went to first grade here before my dad took us to the city life so he could feed us. The day after my HS graduation I moved back
It was simply labeled "Indian Territory" which Oklahoma was known as prior to statehood in 1909 (The glare on left side is lights from booth across the aisle behind)
