Friday afternoon I went to see how things looked at the local County Fair. It was rather quiet there afternoons, I had also gone awhile the day before, but this time had my camera. One booth had lots of old photos of the county, and this one I wanted was a shot of the first store in my tiny hometown, which I suppose began after the railroad came through in 1877. I went to first grade here before my dad took us to the city life so he could feed us. The day after my HS graduation I moved back :)
It was simply labeled "Indian Territory" which Oklahoma was known as prior to statehood in 1909 (The glare on left side is lights from booth across the aisle behind)
