Mine was going decent. Have a little Toyota that I’m fixing the door on. Took a shot under the handle. Had it all metal worked. Body worked. Base coat went on no issues. Laid out 2 coats of clear. Went to lay my final coat. And my gun spit out blue paint. (My clear gun finally crapped out. And this wasn’t expected to be a show quality job)

So now I have to wait for the clear to cure and see if I can take a razor and carefully take the crap out of the paint. Otherwise I’ll be reshooting tomorrow.

Eff. My. Life.

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
Most of my experiences with body/paint work typically had a glitch somewhere in the process. It really sucks this one happened in the final step. Hopefully you get it fixed up easily.

I had just put the first coat of paint on the wings for my front bumper yesterday afternoon. Had them hanging from the door opener brackets in the middle of my garage. My mother walked into the garage... I say mom... those have wet paint. She walks over to one and grabs it and asks what the hell is this for? Then realizes I just told her they had wet paint. She looked at me after letting loose of the tacky wing. Then she proceeded to back up into the other wing and I watched her spin around startled... and the wing kinda spun with her and slightly bounced off her three or four times. The one she touched will be an easy fix... the one with sweater fuzz stuck to it everywhere... not so much.

Today is a new day...
