My credo
Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
I cant express enough, how GREAT this site is. With all or most of the info we/you need right at your disposal. Well organized and put together for the uneducated to find easily. I recently ventured out of the FORD realm and got A Nissan Hardbody. So, Naturally I would join the "most popular" Nissan Forum and be on my way to "D21 Happiness". But that was not the case. That Forum, while is a great source of info, is NOT as well organized as this one. The members don't seem to be as willing to share/divulge info as willingly as the guys and gals on this on. Also a lot of the info from that forum are from links from other forums, and gets quite confusing as to which site I'm actually getting help from. So Thank you to @Jim Oaks, for creating this Forum, and all the Forum Mediators and Members here on TRS, for being so forward with help and information.

Ive ventured onto other forums for big fords and other various motorized objects...but this place just pulls me back.

Its truely like chatting with good friends. Even though we give each other alotta hell i feel like at the end of the day if any one of us saw another TRS'ers truck on the shoulder with the hood up (not me of course, i have a 2.9 :) ) we would stop and lend a hand.

Love it here.

X2. There is another Ranger forum, but this one is much more "friendly". Lot of good natured "banter" among members. Lot of kidding, but above all, mucho good info and help, both given and offered.

The other one is populated by a much younger crowd that is still trying to figure out life and how to be an adult. Not a bad forum and has good info but there is a marked difference in presentation and execution.

I'll say this site has helped me more than once regarding rangers or just general things. It's a good group of people who respond quickly when you need help. Yes there is a lot of 14 yr old mindsets on here but when you get past the smart-ass comments you will get the info you desire.

I think what sets TRS apart is the attitude of @Jim Oaks and the other forum staff.

Alot of other sites ive been on the staff/admin only pop in to knock heads.

Jim and the boys are right there helping and asking too.

I bust on you 2.9l guys a lot, but I'll always try to give solid advice and help in anyway I can. I consider us one big dysfunctional family, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

There's no need for you to open the hood... you can just look through the rust holes.

I need the extra wind drag. To help the marginal ranger brakes slow me down from the super sonic speed 2.9s are capable of.
